Firstly i haven't update since the one before 2.2 so i will be doing that first thing tomorrow, but jut in case that does not fix it,

basically im loading jamstix into cubase choosing the style and drummer and play but no sound is coming out of jamstix 2 even though in the bar editor you can see the beat its trying to play, nothing goes through the mixer of js2 (ie. not green bars shooting up at the hits)

however when i go to the kit everything is loading and i can even make a sound by clicking on them and everything sound great, it when im playing a groove.

another thing to mention is when i first open it and do it with a default quickstart everything works okay, its whe i change the style or drummer or tweak the groove does t all of a sudden go mute.

First, please update to version 2.2 and see if that helps. If not, send me the file rzdlog.txt from your Jamstix 2 folder.
