|
|
I downloaded the demo for evaluation a few days ago and there is something I cannot figure out.
Is it possible to play a MIDI drum track that I wrote but have the AI "humanize" it?
I tried a few different methods but either it isn't a feature or I am unsure of how to accomplish this.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. |

OK I figured it out.
I was trying to load it into the song not the part. I see there is an import button on the part.
When I imported my stuff it didn't seem to add any dynamics.
Is this because I am using the trial version? |

Hi!
After import you should choose a drummer model and play with the brain parameters to see what JS does to your drum track.
It´s definitely not a problem of using a trial version. |

Thanks Doc.
I have been trying that but they are putting extra notes all over.
I think I need to find a drummer model that sticks to the original music instead of embellishes it a lot.
I have another question.
When I import the MIDI it imports as one part with 128 measures.
Is there a way to break apart the measures into groups so I can separate the verses, choruses, etc.? |

| Use a midi editor like cakewalk, or something to break the midi file into sections and resave with a new name |

Try using 'James Stix' and move all the accent sliders to zero (or the global accent slider in the new Jamstix 2.2). You should not get any embellishments that way but still get the groove/feel processing of the drummer model. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
