What's the easiest way to audition kits in JS2? When I'm on the Kit page and go to load a new kit, I've got all these myriad options (I bought the mondo-huge mega pack with JS1 so I've got all those).

There's a preview button there. I press it. I'm not sure what to do next. Does it simply load a kit temporarily so I have to go to a midi input device or click on drum graphics on the kit page to hear the various parts of the kit?

You need to have your host play and a groove active in JS2. Either just playing or in groove preview. Now open the kit page and if you click 'Preview' then whenever you click on a kit in the tree, JS2 will load the top velocity layer for that kit and you will immediately here it as the host plays.
