| When I try to use the preview function to audition midi clips, it doesn't work (no sound). I have to load the clip to hear it. I tried unlocking the transport. I'm using Ableton. What should I do? |

I tried it here and it works fine. I'm trying to think of a Live setting that may influence this. Let's make sure we're doing the same thing:
- open Live
- add JS2 to MIDI track
- load a quickstart song
- set style of current part to 'Import'
- hit <click to load> to select MID file
- click 'Preview' in load screen and then click MID files shown to preview.
