I just got JS2. I downloaded into my desktop then copied the files to a CD for safe storage as well as transfer to my music computer. I am trying to open the files by clicking on them but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong.

Jamstix is a VST. That means it's a plugin, not a stand-alone program. That's why there's no executable- you need a VST host sequencer. Reaper seems to get recommended here a lot as a host, it has a fully functional demo version.

I understand that... I run it in MC4. I finally got it loaded but it would not unpack/unzip/load from the CD no matter what I did. I had to go back to the download site and re-download it from there. I never did find the *.exe program to initiate the setup from the CD.
