... doesn't work in Tracktion 3 and Cubase 4 using the latest beta. I was at a friend's studio (Cubase4 and JS2 owner) and I was showcasing JS2. When we tried to automate the power level, moving the control in JS2 interface with the mouse, no automation data were recorded. I was sure it was working with Tracktion but when I got home I noticed the same problem with my latest Tracktion build too.
In both sequencers automation writing worked fine when I was moving the corresponding "quick control" parameters via the hosts' interface.
Sorry if it's a known issue that has been discussed before. |

Jamstix 2 does not do writing of automation data. It only responds to its input so you need to use the host envelopes to create the data as needed. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Ooops, sorry Ralph. I was sure I was able to do it in Tracktion but it seems I was thinking about JS1. |
