Heard alot good things about Jamstix so I downloaded the demo 2.1.4. I have questions:
With my host running a midi song w/ a drum track, I can hear Jamstix playing a long in the Drum Module Mode. So I know that the kit is loaded and midi is working.
I can not get anything to sound in Jam w/ Midi or Jam-no input. Not quite understand yet. I simply want to load a song to Jamstix and play it from there so I can check out the AI. I though I can click the drum in the kit (it's loaded) and should hear something.
When the manual say play the host, what does it mean? Can the host have an empty song, just midi track and vst assigned to it?

Play the host means just pressing 'play' in the host. Many host can do that with an empty project, some don't (i.e Sonar) in which case you may want to use 'record'.

When trying 'Jam With MIDI', did you select a quickstart song?
