I collected a lot of sounds with a software drum module called DR-008 by fxpansion, the people who later made GURU.
Is DR-008 compatible with Jamstix2?
Is there some way for me to put DR-008 kits in the kit list?
Is there is way for me to remove listings in the kit list for 3rd party products which I don't have such as AddictiveDrums, etc.?
This later point is a problem because when auditioning kits, if I happen to scroll to a name which is for a third party product, the whole music stops as a modal dialog box asks for a .dll file. This is an unfortunate interruption in workflow for what is otherwise a nice UI, especially when jamming with others. |

Yes, you can create DR-008 kits by using 'Select DLL' in the JS2 kit window and loading the DR-008 DLL. Load a kit in DR-008 and adjust the MIDI keys of sounds as needed to match your specific DR-008 kit and then save the whole thing as a JS2 kit.
You can remove JS2 kits by deleting files or folders in the 'kits' subfolder of your JS2 folder. Note that they will be rebuilt if you run any JS2 updater. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
