Is there any way to have only selected limbs within a Core bar affect subsequent bars within a part?

I want to add a left foot hat to a part so of course, I would make the changes within the Core bar to affect all subsequent bars within that part, but the issue is ALL limbs in the subsequent bars will be affected by the core bar settings and I don't want this.
