Hi-

The LF row in the Bar Editor remains empty no matter what Kit, Style, or Drummer I load.

If I click on it I can select a sound, but it disappears as soon as I start playback, and no notes are ever composed in that row.

Is there a setting somewhere that would make this happen? The Brain has no section for the Left Foot.

JS2 2.1.0 with SONAR 7 PE 7.0.1.

This just started happening today and I have no idea how to get the LF working again! Confused

UPDATE: If I load the Afro-Cuban Jam Session, I get LF notes, but none again when I switch to Jamming with MIDI Input.

Thanks-

-Susan

The left foot is rarely used by styles, except for hat pedal in latin and jazz styles. The 'Modern Metal' uses double-pedal and the upcoming MetalPak styles and drummers will as well.

I can't duplicate that here. Please repeat the problem and then do a 'Save Song' in JS2 and send me the file.

Hi Ralph-

Actually, those are the styles I'm most interested in for my current project Wink , but that row remains empty. Is there any way to "force" JS2 to use the LF? All I can seem to do is assign say a HiHat pedal one time, and then it disappears again whenever I Recompose.

I basically just tried that song to see if I could get JS to use the LF and it did, so I'll experiment more with jamming with that loaded and send the Song file next chance.

Thanks!

Makr sure your manually placed notes are locked. You should set 'Lock Manually...' in the bar editor menu under 'Locking'. Then they should not get cleared by recomposition.
