I have 2 pics here and I am curious what I am missing. I thought that the bar would be an accurate representation of the notes or beats being played. As you can see the bar only shows 4 kicks but when I drag the midi up you see there are quite a few more. and obviously you can hear more. what am I doing wrong or missin?

No such thing as a dumb question - just dumb answers! Let me be the first...
Your JS2 view is currently showing just the 'groove'. The actual output is made up of this overlaid with 'accents' and 'fills' (after the brain has dealt with limb conflicts / priorities). You can see each of these individually by selecting the relevant green thingy at the top of the brain.
As far as I can work out, you can't see the complete output in any single screen in JS2, although I would probably find it helpful to have one. Possibly a 4th green thingy that opens a read-only cumulative view of all composed elements of the bar?
Maybe Zeuner Claus will bring us one for Christmas? |

Fish, thanks for the reply!! I guess I dont understand why would you would not be able to see that all in one view... if you are doing a loop preview on that Bar and could see all the hits it would make editing them much easier. |

Actually once you get used to the way JS2 works it makes a lot more sense to have the groove separate to the accents and fills.
That way you can get the basic groove how you want it and every bar using that groove will have that groove, but then you can tweak the accents and fills later.
If you are in loop mode to edit the bar you can still swap between the groove, accent and fill tabs to get that particular bar how you want it.
