Hi
Sorry, this is a bit of a question of laziness! Which drum kits make a good rock drum sound? I currently don't have the XL Pak drums, but if these are better for this type of drum sound, I'll purchase it later.

You currently have JS1 stock sounds, DrumPak #1 and the JS2 stock sounds. I recommend you use the JS2 stock kit (any kit in the 'Rock' folder of JS2). If you need more variety, get the XL Pak which will give you another rock kit, rod kit, brushkit, e-kits and 11 additional snares to find the timbre you need.
Also, the MetalPak that we will release soon is not just for metal music. It has a very punchy kick, aggressive AA/AAX cymbals and great maple toms, which can work very well in any rock song that needs extra oomph. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
