I've read the manual several times and I just can't figure out how to get JS2 to automatically compose drum parts in my tunes. The only way I can get JS2 to play at all is to load something in Quickstart or load a style and then add parts to the song sheet. But the drum parts come nowhere close to lining up with my music.

I know there's a whole lot of power right before me in JS2, I just don't know how to use it. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Line up the parts by changing their length in the song sheet. Check how many bars your intro has and set the into to that length. Now check verse1 (or whatever part follows) and adjust the length as needed and so forth.

You can also start from scratch instead of a quickstart song but don't forget to select a drummer and style. That's why you didn't hear a groove when you did it that way.
