Hi Ralph,
Been playing with (and enjoying) Jamstix, but I have a few questions and issues. Apologies if these are discussed somewhere else:
1. Each time I press play in Cubase SX2, jamstix starts out a little bit differently and often out of synch. I have no fill or intro, so I cannot explain why it is different each time. It sounds like this: http://www.danieljslewis.com/jamstixproblem.mp3 Note: The .mp3 is a simple export from Cubase. This is the first few measures.
2. I really wish there was simple way to manually add a crash (like you can for kick, snare and toms). In general, I would really like to see more control over the cymbals.
3. Can you change the default number of outputs that appear in Cubase SX2 when you load Jamstix?
4. Is there a way to globally change the default level of Ambience (or for that matter, choose a default that is off?)
Thanks!

This is a known issue with Jamstix, it needs a bar to synch up. Just have a bar of silence at the beginning and it should be fine.

We are planning additional cymbal support in the rhythm page for a future update.

Not sure if that's what you mean but you can set the number of stereo outputs in the mapping tab (4-16). Make sure to close/reopen Jamstix if you change it.

You can set the default level in the jamstix.ini file (see the new PDF manual in the update thread)
Example: DefaultAmbience=0 _________________ Ralph Zeuner
