| As the thread title says, this is inconsistent, but there are times when a crash cymbal is placed on the 'one' hit of a bar (ala after a fill) but it doesn't hit/play. |

This happens when JS2 can't get the arm to the cymbal quickly enough. Check the last 16th of the fill and, if it has a drum on the right hand, delete that event or use a crash that is closer to that specific sound. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Got it....thanks. One more question on fills which i failed to see listed in the manual:
I have been using Repetition and Transition fills however, in the interest of saving parts since we are limited to 16, how do I go abut adding fills to specific bars within a part if i don't have JS1 installed (to load fills from it)? |

Go to the bar in question, have FILL active in the brain panel and hit COMP.
If you want to influence the brain to get a specific fill character, use the preview (round arrow) at the bar editor to loop the fill and change sliders/knobs in the brain panel as desired.
You do not need JS1 fills at all. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
