The scroll wheel can be used for the brain panel. But in Cubase SL it only starts to work correctly after you have clicked once on one of the top/bottom arrows of the brain panel. Before that there is hardly any movement when using the scroll wheel.

Mousewheel usage with non-focused window controls is very tricky since Windows only sends MW messages to the currently focused control. Our work-around requires clicking on background elements or a focusable control once to set the MW up. If you switch windows then you have to do it once again.
