First, if this has already been dealt with, I apologize -- I searched the forums and didn't see this reported.
I use Reaper 2.0 beta (but it happened with the 1.8xx builds, too) -- if a song tempo changes, and especially if that coincides with a new part in my Jamstix mix, Jamstix will often miss the first downbeat of the measure. The "missing" note will carry over to the mixdown stage, so I can't come up with a good workaround, other than stopping and starting the recording right at the beginning of the tempo change.
Anyone else seen or dealt with this? I'm running a P4 2.7 kHz, XP (SP2), 2 gigs of ram.
Still loving Jamstix, BTW -- amazing what I can do with it now that I have a clue how it works! I liked 1.0, but 2.0 is really incredible -- the limb control is the key to building great tracks, IMHO! |

Could you send me a REAPER project file so we can duplicate this here easily? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Will do, Ralph. It is ridiculous how well you support this program. You all are the bomb!
BTW, what exactly should I send you? Can you give me the extension type of the file you need (I'm guessing it's an .RPP, but Reaper builds so many things I never mess with I'm not quite sure what you need) and I'll get it to you, hopefully this evening.
Thanks again for the help...

Uh...your hyperactive customer support karma must've spilled over -- I was able to sort the "problem" out m'self. It was one of those PICNIC moments (Problem In Chair, Not In Computer). I'd essentially smashed a couple of beats out of existence in Reaper. So when Jamstix didn't play them, it was only doing what it was told.
Like I said,
Thanks again for offering to help! And the good Karma!
