I found some odd ghost snares behaviour, or maybe I just don't fully understand it. There seems to be some inconsistency in it. I don't know if it is style related, but I am getting this with the Modern Funk style (and I also have Charlie as the drummer).
I have just 1 part of 4 bars and 30 reps (and Transition fills on, but no Repetition fills) with Jam with no input. I have ghost snares set to Funky on a medium level.
I reset the song, then I click comp and all bars are empty. I start the song at the beginning, and hear no g-snares. After a few bars, I restart the song in Cubase, still no g-snares. But as soon as I slightly change the power level of the g-snares it starts creating g-snares (almost in overtime). When touching the slider again sometimes all g-snares disappear, sometimes they stay. Sometimes when restarting the song, while not hearing any g-snares before, it starts generating them right from the beginning. Sometimes when switching between different g-snares styles, the g-snares come and go. It seems as if I get the least problems when the g-snare style is set to Straight, but I am not sure about this.
By the way, I saw that the power slider for the g-snares go from 0 to 200%. Is this intensional? |

I think all your problems are related to 'Charlie'. He erases all 16ths when used with maximum 'Simplifier'. Reduce the 'Simplifier' or set it to zero and thinks should work fine.

It's a remnant of an early JS2 prototype. Will be fixed at some time. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Setting the Simplifier to zero does seem to solve the problem, consistent behaviour now; thanks. |

| What about adding an additional slider to the Snare Ghosts that determines the amount ghosting, like this is done for other Accents? So you get an additional fluctuation with these. Or is this already included in some way? |

There's no amount control at this time but it's duly noted. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
