Hi,
now that JS2 seems in quite good shape how about new expansions kits. I would be most interested in an experimental trashy kit.

Don't know what Ralph has in the pipeline, but in the meantime I'd suggest some approaches to try:
-- use individual outs and mistreat any JS kit to your heart's content with whatever plug you fancy, at kvr you'll find boatloads of free very unconventional FX.
-- also at kvr you can find free sample players and drum samplers.
Load them up with (again) free one shot samples (you can download gigabytes in the net) and use Jamstix to trigger that sampler, either subhosted or via JS' MIDI out in your host of cboice.
-- Combine the two approaches and you're guaranteed to surprise yourself !
-- If commercial is an option, imho Battery 3 sounds like it's right up your alley, triggered from JS of course.
-- finally one word of caution : Always use a brickwall limiter in your master bus (the free Kjaerhus limiter will do) as a safety net, by trying out those things you are likely to get some unexpected very loud noises.
Have fun,
Rhino |

Hi Rhino,
thanks for suggesting that. I already have lots of sounds and, of course, it's fun to let JS play with them. But what I really would like to see is a real drum kit with broken and/or manipulated elements. something like a prepared piano in the field of drums.

Hi drjee,
ok, understood, that's different for sure.
