On the OPTIONS pop up, the bottom has a slider called Sound Load Priority


what does this mean?

When you load a kit, JS2 starts a thread to load any needed samples while you can continue using Jamstix 2. You will see the names of the samples in the status bar as they are loaded by the thread.

Higher priority for that thread will accelerate loading at the expense of responsiveness of the GUI during the load.
