Got a good drum track done on a song yesterday, opened it today , a large part of it was missing. The first 8 or 9 bars were there, then nothing for 30 or 40 bars, then more parts. Got an error message that said, 'UI update error List index out of bounds'. The part list in the song sheet was also missing some parts. I didn't have over 18 parts in the song, and it was a style that I did manually. Any ideas? |

Do you still have the project in that state? If so, could you please send it to us? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Thanks for the reply,Ralph. No, I don't have it in that state now. I went back to it after I posted and was trying to figure out which parts were missing and in going back and forth in the timeline and the parts list, all of a sudden the missing bars reappeared. I discovered that some of the repitition values were wrong, and there were still a couple of parts missing in the list, but I just copied those back in from existing parts. I have no idea what happened, everything was fine when I saved and closed yesterday. If it happens again, I'll try to save it so you can have a look. Thanks again! (Whew)! EDIT: Just opened the project again, and it had done the same thing, but I noticed that one of the parts had an incorrect bar count, I changed it, and all the bars reappeared, but there were missing parts in the parts list again, so I reloaded the song, and everything loaded correctly. I'm running late for my gig tonight, but I will see what happens in the morning when I open up the project again and let you know what's up. Thanks!! |

| Hey, Ralph, I opened the project in question this morning and the bar count in the part list was incorrect again on the same part, I reloaded the song, and it was corrected, I saved the song in Sonar at that point, reopened Sonar and this time the part list was correct. It could have been me screwing it up in not saving the corrected parts list in Sonar. Also got the stuttering hesitation in a bar that another poster mentioned in a similar thread, it would really drag, take it 5 or 6 seconds to get through the bar, then would play normally, and it always happened on the same bar. Thanks, Milt. |

When you get the hesitation, let it play and, after it stops, send me the rzdlog.txt file right away. Thanks! _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Sent you another email, and another rzd log, Ralph. I think the stuttering and slow motion is caused by repititions of parts. If I remove the repititions of parts from the song, and instead make a new part, the problem goes away, and the stuttering and slow motion, at least as far as I can tell, occurs on part repititions. I elaborated on it a little more in my email. Milt. |
