HI-
I hope I'm doing this right, but I'm just starting to play around with JS2 (great plug), but I'm having trouble loading my Battery 3 kits and getting them to play like I did with JS1.
On the KIT page, I click on the Subhost dll button and choose Battery 3. It appears to load up OK, and then allows me to pick and load a Bat 3 kit.
Then, when I hit PLAY in Cubase 4, JS2 does its thing, but plays the JS Standard kit instead. What additional thing do I need to do to get Battery to play when loaded?
IIRC, this was very easy to do in JS1.
Thanks for the help.

It's more complex in JS2 because now you can mix&match internal and external sounds in the same kit. So you need to set all sounds manually to 'Subhost' in the kit editor. We'll have a shortcut for that in the next hotfix. For now, please use the 'Battery 3' kit in the kit tree under 'Battery' as a starting point. Just change the sounds as needed in B3. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph.
I'll give it a go.
One of the fun things about doing this in JS1 was that I could get a groove going, and with just 1 click swap out the kit to any one of the 100 Battery 3 kits and get a completely different sound. It looks like I still may be able to do this, but I'll have to set up my own template first. I'll let you know how I do.
Cheers
