Hi all,

i downloaded the Jamstix demo and installed the files...however i cant find the *.exe file to execute the program. I searched the files and folders in program files and my whole HDD, its just not there...can anybody help?

Im running XP with SP2

Thanks in advance

edit: found a fix that requires to turn off the DEP, did everything but then realized that there is no exe file in the folders, to point the DEP to.

Is there smthn else that jamstix requires? Like another software or smthn? absolutely no clue, totally new to this but very interested!

Jamstix is a VSTi plugin so there is no exe but a DLL (jamstix emo.dll).

You need a VSTi host (Cubase, Sonar, Tracktion, Live, FL Studio etc.) to run it.

www.kvraudio.com is a great place to get info on hosts. Just use the host database in the top right corner (QuickLinks).

I'd recommend MiniHost as a free host to start off with. You can load the Jamstix demo right into it and get a feel for it.
