Hi I must be stupid
When I load JS in PT I can work with as usual but when I hit record on a track, JS plays but no midi info (no dots) get captured on that track. I can see the meters moving for the track but still get no input on the track. I tried diffrent track types but NO. Can anybody help me with this please. |

I think the RTAS wrapper doesn't support MIDI output from VSTi, IIRC. One work-around is to use the MIDI Router DLL from our downloads section to send the Jamstix MIDI to a MIDI port that you can use for recording in PT. I recommend renaming the router DLL to something other than 'drummer.dll' so Jamstix doesn't use the DFHS format (unless you need that). _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I'm not a PT user myself. Hopefully a PT user can chime in... _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I'd be very interested in finding how to use JS in ProTools also, as that's the system I use....as yet I haven't even been able to d'load the JS Demo, and if it doesn't work with PT, well...I guess I won't be buying it...
...hope it does work though... |
