Hi everyone
I've got a Rolls mp80 midi foot control pedal(I used to use it to change midi on my processors for my guitar).I would like to use it to control Jamstix.I've set it up in preferences using my midi ports on my Emu 1820m,but can't get Jamstix to read the midi information from my foot presses.Does it need the Behringer FC1010 or similar? or can I get it going with my footpedal? _________________ EMU 1820M user |

Jamstix simply looks for MIDI key presses on its input. It's not dependent on specific hardware at all. What function exactly are you trying to control? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

You should get ahold of MIDI-OX http://www.midiox.com/ so you can make sure the MIDI is being handled... You can monitor events that way.
You may later want Bome's MIDI translator: http://www.bome.com/midi/translator/ if you need to convert from, say, CCs to notes or whatever. Bome's translator isn't freeware, though. |
