I just think it would be great if there was a section where Rayzoon could post video tutorials that were a bit more specific. It would be great if members could post tutorials as well.

There are so many features to JamStix but I feel the documentation isn't in-depth enough.

I'm sure there would be plenty of input in terms of what tutorials we'd like to see. Either that or someone needs to do a book on using the program. I've owned it for a while and still haven't really gotten the hang of it. Not because I haven't tried. I sit with the documentation in front of my PC with Sonar 5 running and all I can really do is run JamStix and let it do everything. I want to be able to create my own rythms, intros and fills. Can this be done with a MIDI controller? When the documentation says, "let Jamstix create a rythm and then switch to manual mode to customize it", I'd like to see how that is done. There needs to be a step-wise description.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Dave

Since Jamstix 2 has a different interface and workflow, we are fully focusing on videos for that version now. We are also planning to release additional videos after the release in response to user issues such as yours.

You cannot create your own fills with Jamstix 1 but only select them from a list. However, Jamstix 2 will come with a very flexible fill generator.

That's great news, Ralph. At this point, I'm sure its me and not the product. I'm eagerly looking forward to JS2.

I'm in the same boat as you on the figuring it out. I've had it almost a year now. I'm hoping for something more defined in JS2.
