Have just downloaded the install package, basic kits, SnarePak and ePak from the Group-Buy. Download speed is currently so slow that I will have to DL the remaining packs tomorrow.
Install went as outlined on the download page, activated etc. Opened Reaper track, selected JamStix, Free Jam, started track playing in Reaper, JamStix followed (as per the demo which I had previously tried and uninstalled before installing the full program) but no Snare or Hi-hat sounds heard.
Checking the Rhythm tab showed that both Snare and HH should be audible, but nothing. Changed the rhythm pattern; still no Snare or HH. Closed Jamstix and Reaper, re-opened, tried again, still no snare or HH.
Any advice please? |

Please send me the file rzdlog.txt from the Jamstix folder.

Many thanks for the very prompt reply. Am not actually at my home PC at the moment so will send it later.
As a matter of information, do I just post the .txt file in the forum or do you want it sent to a separate email address?

I have something similar problem. I've just bought Jamstix in the Group-Buy yesterday. I've installed the Stock Kits 1-2 and the ePak already. The 'samples' folder of Jamstix is full of .rzd files, I see a zillion snare, hihat and tom named files in there, but Jamstix doesn't play them only kick and cymbals. No snare, no hihat, no tom sounds when Jamstix plays. Otherwise I would use it in Orion Platinum.

Ralph solved the problem for me: I hadn't installed Drumpak #1. Once this was installed everything worked as expected.
It does seem strange that the basic kit needs an add-on drum pack in order to work, but I notice you haven't installed Drumpak #1 either.
