Hello,
I have just discovered your group buy but am totally new to this.
Is 'Jamstix' only used with live input or can it jam along to a MIDI file played through a sample library in Sonar?
I prepare my MIDI files in a notation program (Finale) then import into Sonar. I play my MIDI files through sample libraries to make my recordings. Would 'Jamstix' jam to a setup like this or can it only jam to real time live input?
Thanks.

Yes,i do that all the time, you can have jamstix playing to audio or midi.
you send the audio output of your SoftSynth to Jamstix audio input and thats it..

As Saurez said.
Also, Jamstix jams best with MIDI, with audio it basically varies patterns by itself and adjusts velocity to the audio signal and makes resulting rule switches (like snare head vs sidestick and hihat vs. ride). You can use Jamstix without any jam input as well. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
