|
|
Hi.
I've tried the demo. I really love the product. I currently own EZDrummer and I think these two should work great together.
What are the real differences between the demo and the full product, in terms of drum patterns offered and/or functionality. Are those patterns found in the demo, the only ones on the full product? Will there be a different way (something like EZD) to browse patterns in JS2?
I think I could use JS in arranger mode. Does JS make changes to patterns even If I use the arranger? are those changes permanent? I mean, if I run the whole song the drum part will be different every time?
The GUI is one of the things I don't like (small fonts I can't easily read) but I know JS2 will have a different look (are there screenshots already?).
I can tell you, I am very tempted to buy JS right now.
Best Regards,
Willy. |

Other than the demo limitations being gone, the main difference is 'Jam Habits' and 'Percussion' buttons are active and you get all the kits of course.

Yes, the rhythm library is the same. Remember that the core of Jamstix is creating new and unique patterns (via free jam) and creating your own from scratch or from library rhythms. Jamstix can delivery literally tens of thousand of different grooves so the library itself is not the core and not a limit.
JS2 will have no library patterns at all...

Once composed it stays the same (unless you use a function that recomposes, of course).

There are some videos in the JS2 info thread. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the answer Ralph!
Waiting for the download links!
I am a little preoccupied about JS2 not having patterns at all...

About the JS2 videos, that thread is very long, can you post a link so I can go there directly?

The composition of a rhythm/groove will be significantly easier in JS 2.
The "need" for pre-existing rhythms/patterns becomes more and more irrelevant. |
