I just want to say I have completed my first song with Jamsticks (you can find it here http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=465524&songID=4962357 )

While I have had the product for a while I have only used is to play back midi tracks recoreded by a mate of mine with a Roland TDK8.

Anyway he was not arround when I had the idea for this song so I used Jamsticks for the lot. How impresed was I that I got the feel I was after.

I programed the main baet myself and then let Jamsticks do the rest. Exported it to a MIDI track and finished it if. I have so many compliments about how good the drumming is on this track. I have not had the heart to tell anyone its Jamsticks.

This program is fantastic. I can not wait for the new version!!!

Cheers,

Jason

Welcome to the board. Nice one. Certainly noone will suspect there´s actually a computer drumming, although you must have set Jamstix´settings more to the steadier side of the sliders (concerning funkiness, complexity, accentuation and fills).
A very steady drummer you have here! Smile

Well thats the beauty of having jamstix isnt it? First off, how hard is it to find a drummer for your band? not the easier postion in your band to fill. and secondly, how hard is it to find a drummer that just sticks to the basics!? HA. Jamstix +1 - real drummers 0.

dinoman - Thanks for listening.

Scottieboy - I will be sure to raise that point with the drummer in my band Razz

Doc - I used accents more than fills in this one. When I did use the fills Jamsticks was restricted to the last couple of beats. Thats sort of the feel I had for this song.

I am looking forward to using Jamstick on my next track now I understand how to use it a bit better. I was well pleased with the results.
