I am using Jamstix with Cantabile 1.2 and sfz to create drum tracks for MIDI files using Auto Jam. Jamstix and Cantabile are in sync with respect to song location. In the arrangement window my start bar is set to 1, and I have no Bar Offset entry in my ini file.
When I set fill frequency to 8, the first fill isn't created til bar 9 and are repeated every 8 bars. Similarly if I select a fill frequency of 4, the first fill doesn't appear until bar 5. Is there any way to make the first fill appear at bar 8 or 4 and still have them repeat with the desired frequency?
Oh yeah, and hi everyone, I just got Jamstix but hopefully I won't bug you with too many questions.

| I guess its a Cantabile issue since it works as expected in Cubase Studio 4. I'll check out the Cantabile site to see if I can find any info. |

Set 'Start Bar' to zero and the fills should appear starting at bar 8.

The excuse could also be "I'm not a mathematician"... we are making this more intuitive in Jamstix 2.
