i just downloaded the demo for jamstix, not instaled yet...
so my 1st question is;

i do a lot of "jam´along" songs for guitar practice using jammer software,..now how can i still use all jammer instruments tracks and have them played with Jamtsix drum patterns?
(..sometimes i import the MIDI file into Sonar and edit thre drum patterns a bit on velocity, off beat subtle changes,...)

is there a way to substitute the jammer drum tracks with the new rythms of jamstix?can i import or syncr. within jamstix?
that would be fantastic,as i´m borred playing the same seemless beats..

Thanks everyone!

You need a VST Host for Jamstix.

Don't know about Jammer songmaker but,
Jammer Pro recievs MTC (Midi Time Code)
So if your host send MTC and Jammer recievs MTC.
You can sync them with a virtual midi cable.
Mute the drums in Jammer and use Jamstix.

Hope that helps

Sonar is a host.

Then you only need a VST to DXi wrapper.
I think it's included with Sonar.

First you install Jamstix.
Then you just wrapp the Jamstix.dll file.
Then Jam away.

So..one step ahead..in Sonar instead of the 10th channel for midi drums i set it to Jamstix and have it playing the drum patterns set to..?
i mean sonar plays the midi instruments channels from jammer and the drums i may compose/build them from scrath?

It wont be so easy as that but i see it can be donne!..
not dazed and confused anymore Smile

thanks mate!
