| Ray - I downed the FreePack. When I looked into my Drums subfolder, I didn't have a JamStix folder so I created one and added FreePak to it and unpacked it. When I go to the Mapping tab, the only Load button I see is on the far top right labeled "default". When I press it I do get a column titled Mappings but I don't see FreePak so I guess I'm moving in the right direction. What is the correct structure and placement of folders and files for JamStix? For example. the JamStix folder should contain JamStix.dll, another folder called mappings, etc. |

You cannot create a 'Jamstix' folder manually. You need to find your 'jamstix demo' folder (where jamstix demo.dll is) and unzip the FreePak into that folder. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

During install, I did not want to use the default install path. When I pointed the installer to my "Drums" folder, the install wizard dropped "\jamstix demo" from the end of the install path. I manually added "\jamstix demo" to the end of the path I specified, and the installer created the jamstix demo folder and installed all component files within - all is well in JamStixville for now.
Also now have the FreePak running fine as well! |
