Hi all,

It's been a LONG time since I've visited!

I am using Build 1763 from long long ago.

What I'd like to do in my song is use the same Basic 6/8 feel in a song, but as the song goes on I'd like the volume to increase so Jamstix plays louder, with more fills, etc. I thought about doing that as separate rows in the Arrangement but I am stumped because there's only one Velocity slide in the Rhythm window!

Is there a way to do this in a build as old as mine? Or does the latest build from Ralph take care of issues like this?

Thanks!

Paul

Hi Paul,
The way to do this is by using automation. Add an envelope to the host track for Jamstix for the 'Velocity' parameter and then shape the envelope to give you the dynamics rise as desired.

I would also use an envelope on 'Snare Accent Frequency' and/or 'Tom Accent Frequency' to increase 'busyness' where needed.
