Hallo to Everybody.
O've recently purchased Jamstix, thinking about useing it only with external VST (EZDrummer, BFD).
Some days ago I thought about buying also the extension packs, so . . . because they were cheap enough to try them but without expetting too much from them (in spite of the good sounding of the mp3 demos on site).
Well, I bought all the packs (for that REALLY good price) and tryed them and . . . MY GOD . . . . THEY SOUNDED FABOLOUS!
In many cases better than EZ and even better than BFD (which's snare sometimes sounds a bit . . . "machinegunning").
I couldn't believe to my ears.
But it was not enough!
Mooving trough the mapping parameters of the JS I discovered a WORLD of flexibility in routing every drum component in single channels of the Cubase (till 17 channels!) giveing the possibility of applying different effects to kik, snare, hi-hat ecc.
And more . . . EVERY SINGLE SOUND has his own parameters for ambience, velocity, volume, pitch.
And more, mapping E.G. two snares in the same key with different volumes (and pitches and ambient) it's possible mixing the two sounds for createing a new different snare ecc. .
So, I HIGHLY RACCOMEND getting all those packs (I like a lot drumpack 2 and snarepack).
THANKS A LOT TO ZAUNI AND TO RAYZOON TEAM FOR THIS UNCREDIBLE JAMSTIX AND SOUNDS !
