|
|
Sonar 6 inserts Jamstix tracks (I have Jamstix set up for 16 outputs right now to handle BFD 1.5 ALL outputs mode) but they are all Stereo tracks. I need to split some of the stereo tracks (Kick for instance) into separate Mono tracks. How do I do this? The Inputs in Sonar only list stereo Jamstix outputs as sources. Is there a way to tell Jamstix to output Mono tracks?
So far I have jamstix working great w/ BFD 1.5 except for the Sonar tracks issue. I am a noob w/ Jamstix but followed the instructions in the Jamstix manual for Mapping BFD outputs and restarting Jamstix after increasing my ouputs. Thanks for any help;. |

Since you have Sonar 6 you have two options:
a) Add this line to the [General] section of the jamstix.ini file in the Jamstix folder to get mono outputs:
StereoOutputs=0
b) Run BFD outside of Jamstix in Sonar and drive BFD by adding a MIDI track with input=Jamstix and output=BFD. This assumes you have the MIDI output support in Sonar 6 enabled for Jamstix. You may also want to load a BFD mapping into Jamstix with 'MIDI Out Only' checked so that Jamstix uses BFD key format even though it doesn't actually load BFD. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
