| I reinstalled on a new machine. I thought I copied all of my sounds over to the new machine, but when I launch an existing song in Cubase, JS 1.7 throws a few "Missing Expansion Pac" errors. I have all of the sound packs, so it may help if I knew how many I'm missing. Also it would help if there was a distinct list of individual sounds that I could match against and search for. |

After loading your song, look in the Jamstix folder and open 'missing_sounds.html', which should list all sounds you are missing. I can tell you what Paks they are from if you list them here.
Alternatively, look at the ABOUT tab of Jamstix and it lists all your installed Paks. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

OK, after lots of file copies from my old machine, now on the "About" screen, I see all of the add on patches and I no longer get the missing files error. However, when I attempt to load a new patch of sounds from the 'Mapping' screen, I can only select from the JS default drum kits. I found JS actually loaded in two places on my computer. One had no files in the "samples" folder, and the other had about 3K+ files. I copied the files in the 'full' folder to the empty one, but I still only get the default files to select from.
On the other hand, when I load a song in Cubase 4 that has other patches in them, the correct sounds are loaded.
I am completely confused. |
