Sorry if this has been addressed before so a pointer to the correct thread will suffice.
I saved a couple of arrangements to the desktop for easy recalling and have been successful in loading them back in. I noticed that there is a folder created upon installation that has arrangements in it. They are of the .fxb format and the arrangemensts that I saved were of the .jsa format.
I was going to tidy things up a bit and place them in that folder but because of the format difference, it made me curious of why they are different.
Can someone please explain the difference in these and all of the rest of the Jamstix formats for me so I won't have to trouble you again on this issue?
Thanks for any assistance that you may provide. |

The FXB files are standard VST bank files that a host can load and save for Jamstix. They include all save-able data within a Jamstix session, including the arrangement.
The JSA format is Jamstix-specific and stores a subset of the data a FXB file saves.
In other words, a FXB contains all that a JSA contains but not vice versa. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
