|
|
| Jamstix 3.5 doesn't have sub-hosting. I'm currently using a spare MIDI track with monitoring on to route the MIDI to Addictive Drums. Is this right? Is there a more direct way to route the MIDI? I am getting some audible timing effects. |

Still no replies to this? Is it answered anywhere else?
Basically, how do you get MIDI data from Jamstix to a VSTi?
Through a spare MIDI track?
Please let me know.
Cheers! |

| Yes. Send JS midi out to track with AD drum vsti on. Select midi drum map ad addictive drums in JS. |

Please also check your audio latency setting as high values may lead to MIDI timing issues in Cubase. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for your replies. It's a shame you no longer have the option of sub-hosting. Even on a low power machine, with huge latencies, this gave good timing. Good job I recently bought a higher spec laptop!
(I don't think there's anything on MIDI routing for 3.5 in the manual. Maybe a couple of lines would be good) |
