I came back to a song I haven't worked on for a few weeks yesterday and I now don't remember which mapping I was using for it. Is it my imagination or did one of the updates address this issue and displayed the loaded mapping in the top right of the mapping screen? I have the latest 1.71 update but nothing is displayed. It's just for future reference really, I really like the mapping and would like to know which one I'm using. Many thanks  |

No, this has never been addressed in an update but will be fixed in Jamstix 2.

| Strange, I could swear I've seen it displayed before - must have been my imagination. Is there any other way of finding out which one I'm using? |

If you tell me the name fo the kick, snare and hihat closed samples, I can probably tell you what mapping it is.

I may have changed some of the individual sounds, I don't remember but here we go:-
Kick - 22" DP2
Snare - 14x5.5 Slingerland Brass
Closed Hi-hat - 14" New Beat DP2
2 of those are from Drum Pack 2, I didn't think it was a drum pack 2 mapping I was using though. Just ask if you need any more of the individual drums to identify the mapping |

This looks like the 'SnarePak - Classic Fat Snare DP1 DP2' mapping.
