Hi, im using BFD. And i have a lot of hability of programming with the SONAR`s piano roll. Is there a way, that i could program the basic patterns in sonar, with all the velocities exaclty the way i want, and have jamstix to play those midi files and add the fills????

One way is this:

- save the patterns in Sonar to a MID file.
- open Jamstix and set it to 'manual jam'
- go to the rhythm tab, click 'Import' and select the saved MID file

JS will now load you pattern(s) into its rhythm slots. Note that this is not a 100% accurate import since Jamstix is rule-based, not MIDI-based. You can fine-tune the patterns in the rhythm tab.

- you can now arrange the rhythms as needed in the arranger and add fills and accents as desired.

Another way would be this:

- create your MIDI track in Sonar as you're used to and feed it into BFD.
- leave the rhythm in Jamstix empty and just add fills as needed and add a MIDI track to Sonar with input=Jamstix output=BFD. This way the fills get sent to the BFD instance.

You can go to the arranger, select a bar and double-click on it which takes you to the rhythm tab where you can select a snare or tom accent for it.

There aren't that many accents so just pick any one and see how it works.
