Thanks as always for an excellent update strategy.
I recently upgraded to Sonar 6 and read in the Sonar Forum that there were some problems with the new Sonar and Jamstix. However, I see no mention of anything being updated because problems with Sonar 6. |

Jamstix 1.71 has a MIDI output fix for Sonar 6.
There are no other known issues with Jamstix and Sonar 6 that we know of. Most of what we've seen on forums were VST scan issues that resolved themselves when the user(s) ran the scan again.
We encountered no problems whatsoever on house with S6 and Jamstix 1.71. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Yeah, maybe that was what I read about a month ago. So now it works. |

complexity and funkiness remain ineffective in an existing project here in freejam looping. works fine in new project. using cubase sl2 here.

Hey, cool, thanks!
Quick question: I never had time to download the last update... I'm assuming that if I download this update it'll take care of it all (invlude all old update files)?
Thanks! |

Thought so, thanks!
'Jamstix now saves the data received from the host during loading immediately to disk as 'last_arrangement.dat' in the Jamstix folder. This file can be loaded manually via 'Load Arrangement' under the disk icon of the arranger. The function is useful to recover an arrangement from an unloadable/partially corrupted host project file'
A while ago, I deleted a drum track (that took me days to get it how I wanted!) without saving by accident. So this will create a backup file even if we don't eclusively save? IF so, that's a GREAT addition. |

No, these are 2 different issues. If you need backups, I recommend making frequent backups of your host project file. This will guard against data loss in any of your project components.
The new feature in JS 1.71 is that JS saves the data received by the host during project load to a file on disk, in case the host crashes later during the project load for whatever reason. You'll likely never need this feature. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

It works fine here, we'll need to research this more. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
