If you find that your MIDI export file is empty or only has hats, this is a known issue due to the fact that the MIDI export only exports what is "in" Jamstix and not what is "out" (velocity, MIDI automation etc.) So if you export a jam, the velocity will be zero or static.

The solution is to record the Jamstix MIDI-out while you jam rather than use the Export function.
