Exactly that, I use FL Studio for production work and Ableton Live for live performance. For both applications I want a live sounding bongo-conga player for me and want to use Jamstix to do that.
Does anyone have any tips? |

Real bongo playing will become available with the future percussion plugin for Jamstix 2 in 2007.
Until then, you can get interesting results by using any sound module with bongo sounds, i.e. a good free bongo or percussion soundfont with free sfz player, load them into Jamstix and set the keys of the hihats in the mapping tab to the bongo sounds. You may also want to try sending the kick to a low conga sound and the snare to a high conga sound. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
