Is there a setting that allows for determining the level of randomness of the velocities?

Also, is there a similar setting for "de-quantizing" the hits in comparison to the MBT?

I can see where these would be useful features in adjusting the "nuance" of the drummer.

BTW - I'm REALLY excited about your product based on the videos! Something tells me the market is going to reward you handsomely!

If you look at the 'How To Create Your Own Rhythms' tutorial, you can see two sliders called 'Variance' in the snare and hihat panel. That's where you can control the degree of velocity randomization.

Initially we did not plan to release Jamstix with "timing humanization" functions in the 1.0 version but this has been changed:

Jamstix will have a 'Timing Variance' slider that will control random delays in notes.

Furthermore, you will have a "Pocket Panel", where you can put kick, snare and hihat in the pocket, separately. The range is 0 to 20 ms. Any random 'Timing Variance' you have dialed in will be added to the pocket delay.

We hope you're right, Sekim! Smile
