As I get deeper and deeper into Jamstix - it never ceases to amaze.
For a current track - I am constructing a very basic rock drum track using some of the stock Jamstix rhythms - loaded one up and created a basic arrangement quite quickly. Last night - while I was editing and dropping in fills etc into certain bars where needed - I carefully examining the arrangement itself (Each little "capsule" if you will) - and I noticed a small dot in those "elements" where Jamstix would seem to make some variable decision for me on the basic rhythm...sometimes a little variation and then other times - trying to do a bit too much within a certain time frame.
I was wondering - in those arrangement bars with a "dot" - how do I reset those to have Jamstix just revert to the basic rhythm? Or how do I tone back whats happening? When I double click on an element - I am taken back to the Rhythm tab. Is what I see displayed there (when I stop playback for example) what's about to happen for the bar I double clicked on? Is there a secret to getting Jamstix back to basics?
Any help would be appreciated. |

Stop the host and the move Jamstix to the bar in question. Go to the rhythm tab, click on the snare accent display and set it to 'No accent'. Now repeat this for the tom accent display. This will tell JS not to use accents on that particular bar.
We are streamlining this in Jamstix 2 a lot to make things more intuitive. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
