Is there an easier way to browse the sounds in Jamstix the this?
in the mapping tab.
i select the type in the combo box at the top then pull down the sample combo box and select which sound. let that combo box close, hit the audit button.
and I got the "sound paks bundle", so to listen to even a tenth of these would take forever. I'm not sure if the filter button filters anything, dont filter much anyway.
just a listbox that stays open and plays the sound when you click on it (instead of the combo box) would do it.
I'm sure I am missing some simple way to do it. I tried all i can think of. winamp don't load them.
Jamstix is "Awesome" btw. It is capable of way beyond my needs. I just use it to Jam with my guitar and its great at it. |

Hi and welcome to the board.
It´s much more useful and a lot easier to browse through different kits and then maybe solo some sounds for special evaluation.
The reason I recommend doing it this way is because you can then hear how the single instruments sit together in a kit.
In the mapping tab go to the load button on the upper right, then you can load (or even preview) the different kits (which have been put together by Ralph in a very nice way I think). |
