Hi,

I've been having trouble with my OS and have unfortunately had to reinstall three times recently. After many heart and head aches I finally got the problem sorted. Zauni was nice enough to give me a download link to the drumpak 1 zip the first time I had to re-install. I kept the files for the .exe and the drumpack on a seprate server and on a cd just in case. I have succesfully loaded and registered the full version of 1.7 on the machine, but everytime I try to unpack the Drumpack 1 folder or even the freepack, they show up on my sytem as .rxp or .rxd files, just sitting there in the addons folder. JS doesn't recognize them. Before on the mapping>load tab, there would appear, drumpack #1 on the list of available sounds. Its not there anymore. Just to be sure, I opened the file in notepad, its like 100 mb and all the names of the samples appear. Anyone else have this problem? I use 7-zip, but I've also tried with xp's regular unzip utility.

Thanks,
Michael

More concisely,
there is only one .rxp (I think it is) file that appears in the addons. It contains the other types of files. It appears everytime I try to load it from the DP#1 zip, but I can't get it to inflate and show the sounds it contains in the program.

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

Michael

If I remember rightly, you unzip the file into the AddOns folder, then start Jamstix, and it will ask if you want to load the new addon. If you say "yes", Jamstix automatically unpacks the file for you.

Hope that helps! Smile

Make sure the file is unzipped as 'DrumPak #1.rxp' in the 'addons' folder (not any subfolder thereof).
