Hi Ralph,
I have just loaded the 1.7 release. Previously I had been running the 1.7 beta updates. Anyway, after purchasing 1.6 and loading it I found there was a bar offset mismatch with Cubase 5/32. You told me to add "Bar Offset=2" in the ini file. This worked fine. But I can't get it to do the same in 1.7.
Not sure if it is connected, but I have the sample data files on one hard drive 'E' and the plug in, A8 and ini files on the C drive with my other Vst plugins.
Should I just have one ini. file?
thanks in advance |

You should have only one jamstix.ini file and it should be where the data is (apparently your E drive). Makre sure that ini file exists and has the BarOffset parameter in it.
If it still doesn't work, please send me jamstix.ini and rzdlog.txt to support[at]rayzoon.com. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for that.
Have worked out the problem, I typed in Bar Offset instead of BarOffset. The space is obviously v. important.
Also, I notice that now when I defragment my E drive (one with samples and data), I get a section of red defragmentable files in the visual pane. It didn't exist before loading Jamstix data there.
I have repeatedly defragemented the drive, but the red section is not going.
Is this going to be a problem? |

I'm not an expert on defrag software so I can't answer this but I find it unlikely to have an impact since Jamstix doesn't do disk streaming. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
