Hello,
Like the product so far. Definitely feels more like a real drummer. I followed the instructions in Sonar 4 to set up a free jam with audio. I'm using the VST plug in on my audio track, it's moving the meter, and it's moving the meter in the Jamstix DXi. The velocity slider is also moving. However, I can't get Jamstix to "start" playing. It only works if I'm recording on the audio track. Is that the way it's supposed to work or can I start Jamstix another way?
Thanks,
Matt |

Hi Matt,
Jamstix needs the host to play or record because it is always synched to the host, it doesn't play by itself.
Sonar doesn't play unless there is something in a track to play. Other hosts don't have that behavior. So you either need to record or you can place a single note or contoller event on any track at bar 500 or whatever and Sonar will happily play to get there:) _________________ Ralph Zeuner
